The myth of no need to stay long, just finish your work and

 This is coming from a banker in one of the largest and most reputed banks in the country.

 You may hear your seniors telling you that you may leave after finishing your work, you don't need to stay late or work on weekends. You feel they are nice.

What happens next is this:

1. Managers from different departments all assign you work on Friday evening which has to be done by Monday.

2. 10 clients for different works all need to have their work done the same day.

3. Maintainance work needs to be done or you are in trouble.

4. A phone that rings constantly, no one seems to have calling etiquette. No need to set alarms, a phone call will wake you up before you wish to.

5. You are getting bored at home. Do the work, we have lunch. Overtime? It is your work that I assigned to you

This is just the annoying part. There is also a lot of illegal part I would rather not say.
